Great water filter, easy to use, nice replacement filters.
Same issue the water filter lasts such a short amount of time. After I move I will go on subscription. Honestly it’s the only water fountain my orange one will drink out of . Also I never got it to connect to WiFi no matter what room I am in .

The water filter already makes a ticking sound after one week.
Listen it’s a good fountain but as a common issue it’s the filters not being in stock. I’ve had to improvise. I recommend popping off the bottom part of the filter. Yes it might not filter the water as clean as it should but atleast the water pumps thru. So you pop off the bottom and take off the paper filter top that’s probably moldy by now again cuz we can’t get any filters in stock. Throw out the paper piece of filter and just put the bottom part piece back together and the water flow will work like before. It’s a bit of a process but it helps while we wait a year for a restock :)

This fountain is almost perfect except when you can’t use it because the filters are out of stock. I wish they’d find a solution to this. We are now reliant on a product we cannot use until these filters become available. I do love how easy it is to clean and maintain, that my orange guy hasn’t managed to take it apart or tip it over, and that it can be used wirelessly as well as the smart motion function. When I can use it, this has been my favorite cat fountain of all the ones I’ve tried, and there have been a lot :)
I have been a loyal long time supporter and huge fan of petsonwy. I have 2 litters, vacuum, and have had the new pet fountain for a few months. I absolutely love the concept but the filter life cycle and cost is TERRIBLE!!! The filter gradually lets less through untill it is barely a trickle. Every time I refill the water, i struggle to get it working again - the filter obviously clogs up way too quickly, compared to competitive products! I need to buy at least 3 or 4 a month (had set up to 2 per month which is a waster of time) which would cost meup to $160 per month to have free flowing clean water. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY PREPOSTEROUS AND THEFT!!! This is making me seriously consider moving entirely away from Petsnowy whic would be really sad. What do you suggest as an alternative?? 1 filter change per month would seem resonable!!
This filter system is definitely nice but it comes with draw backs. Ill preface, that we do have harder water where we live so that definitely plays into the next part. This is our second filter for the new fountain and each one works amazing for the first week, maybe week and a half. After that, we experience slower water flow that requires us to shake the unit to work better. It still never reaches the full flow that it does during the first period. Recognizing these filters are designed for limited use life, a great update would be improving the design so they could be used for longer than 30 days.
